Poly Banners Expand an Otherwise Basic Product Category - High Speed Direct Digital Printing Creates Fast Turnaround
(PRWEB) November 16, 2007 -- Dream Digital Fabric Printing Service announces the launch of a direct digital specialty product line of polyester fabrics dedicated to banner printing for an otherwise basic market. Already known for high speed digital printing for nylon flags and banners, the expansion of the product line transitions specialty printing onto new polyester surfaces.
The development of new polyester fabrics offers a wider range of possible applications. In addition to a highly successful nylon flag and banner product line launched by Dream in early 2007, the new poly line is fast becoming a commodity product. The ability to print and process at the Dream facility allows for even faster turn around than with the nylon-based products. The dispersed inks are water based and Eco friendly.
Says Chetan Shah, Managing Director of Dream Digital; "Polyester has become an interesting new resource for visual imagery, especially in the banner and related categories. These new textures and finishes rival those of other core fabrics such as silk and cotton. Durability and other inherent qualities as well as special finishing processes make this a new, vital market with an extremely wide range of applications. The addition of new Eco qualities, including 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, adds a considerable amount of new product possibilities to printed polyester products."
The product line includes fabrics suitable for banners, point of purchase display, upholstery and home textile fabric, window panels, jacquard woven then printed fabrics, art and hanging panels, office room divider panels, signage and wall covering. The poly library includes poly satin, mesh, ribbed satin, 600 denier, poplin, sheers, stretch and other novelty fabrics including the Eco line.
Of special interest are a new group of table throws made of poly fabrics offering unique finishes and expanding a normal selection to include runners, partial covers and "toppers", a short printed version draped over a solid cover. It transitions corporate table throws into more applications and includes 'templates' so a customer can plug in their logo, select a color combination and order on line.
The DreamGreenBanners.com division launched the Eco product line this past September with a poly fabric of 100% post consumer plastic bottle construction. Texture is that of cotton canvas but the color yield is one of the highest of all the poly fabrics, making it a visually stunning product.
Another new category in poly is a visual hanging art package. Available as a custom product or with stock art from the extensive library created by Dream Digital associate artists, a "kit" will offer various sizes and finishes of printed wall art for home or office. Digital prints can coordinate to woven fabrics or all can be created from the same image files. This type of overall coordination expands into other fabrics, as well, including a high quality silk printing also through Dream.
The unique facility, located 18 miles north of Manhattan, houses two Reggiani Dream printing systems capable of high speed, roll to roll printing. As a contract printer, the introduction of internally produced product lines is something new to the service market. It is an extension of an already established home textile 'division' of the company that includes bedding, window fabrics, decorative pillows and tabletop. A silk division offers high-end designers the ability to create unique printed fabric for domestic production of garments and specialty products. New categories for 2008 will primarily focus on Eco and standard poly printing.

Home Equity Loan Scams - Watch Out For These Red Flags!
If you own your home, chances are that it is your most valuable asset. As with anything valuable, you must be conscious of protecting your home and its equity. Simply put, equity is the difference between the current value of your home and what you owe on it. For example, if you have a home that?s worth $200,000 and a mortgage for $150,000, it means you have $50,000 equity.
Internet Advertising: The Greatness Of Banners
Banners are probably the most common form of advertising on the Internet today. The reason behind this has to do with their randomness and prevalence throughout the cyber highway. Banners are not intended for target audiences; instead, these flashing, animated, sound-generating eye-catchers are intended to simply throw the message out there in an endless array of locations for everyone?professionals and public?to see. In this way, the company that is advertising becomes known instantaneously, which is the purpose.
The History Of Aerial Maps And Mapping
Maps have been around for centuries, it is hard to image how our forefathers were able to so accurate depict the world with the limitations they face. Babylonian clay tablets are the earliest surviving signs of any maps made. These showed the world as flat; because no one knows for sure when or where the first map was drawn the Babylonian depiction hold the honor as the world?s first map. This map was found in 1930 in present day Iraq.
Bill Gates, Virtual Reality, and Six Flags
Does bill Gates know something we do not know about Six Flags amusement parks? No probably not, but anyone as smart as he, certainly understands the future of Virtual Reality. Look at the new X-Box 360-degree system? Obviously Microsoft gets it and their research teams may have entered the Virtual Reality Realm a little late, but they certainly understand gaming.
Programmable Electronic Banners: Are They Effective?
Today there is a company in the business of creating programmable electronic banners. The name of this company is Pro-Lite Inc., and they are located in Costa Mesa, California. They introduced the 32? indoor, red LED sign in 1981. Then, in 1984, they decided to expand their design and created a three-color LED banner, which in 1987 was made available for outdoor use as well. This is the same company that has now created a very colorful, highly effective programmable electronic banner, which you simply cannot walk past without taking notice. This banner contains ultra-bright LED's for high visibility.
