Dexigner Design Portal Launches Design Maps
(PRWEB) December 12, 2007 -- Dexigner, the leading online design portal for designers, announced its new service "Dexigner Design Maps." Design Maps combine the Google Maps with Dexigner's rich design information resource to show you the exact locations of the design events, designers, design studios, companies, and museums.
"The vision for our new service is to allow our visitors to find any design related events and locations near them," said Dexigner founder Levent Ozler. "We're putting designers, studios, design firms, museums and all design related organizations on the map, which enables visitors to find them on an interactive map of the city, instead of browsing long lists. Visitors who are planning a visit to a city can now view the events and important locations directly in Google Maps."
Dexigner visitors can navigate the maps by dragging the mouse, or using the mouse wheel to zoom in or out. Zooming in reveals more placemarks being displayed. Visitors can click on a placemark to get more information, including photos, dates, contact information, and links.
New placemarks are continuously added to the Design Directory, Database and Agenda. Using the maps or getting listed is free of charge.

Aerial Photography Maps Offer Unique Views
Aerial photography maps are clear images, much like photographs, as the term indicates, that offer views of landscapes as well as other things, for the benefit of certain industries. Earlier this month, Baja California Sur state officials claimed hundreds of acres of natural beachfront property in Cabo San Lucas, rightfully belonging to local businessman and longtime conservationist, René Pinal, along with his family and team of investors.
Despite evidence of forged and altered land titles presented by the company claiming ownership over the land, Baja California Sur state officials proceeded to clear Pinal's land last week, while actually reversing his charges against him. (Case Number: LPZ/006/AES/2007)
Pinal, who has been a well-respected environmental activist and businessman for over 18 years, has left the majority of his 2,000 acres of coastal land undeveloped in a conscientious effort to protect the region's ...
