MapsAlive Names Technology Industry Veterans Todd Savitt and Julia Lerman to its Newly Formed Advisory Board

AvantLogic has named Todd Savitt, Chief Sales Officer at SmartDraw.com, and Julia Lerman, consultant, author, and Microsoft technology expert, to the board. They will provide marketing and technical expertise to accelerate the launch of MapsAlive and position the product for continued growth.

Todd Savitt has more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience and has helped several leading technology and Internet-based companies become successful. At SmartDraw.com, a leader in business graphics software, Mr. Savitt is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and business development initiatives. As a member of the AvantLogic board, Mr. Savitt will provide marketing and sales guidance to build the MapsAlive brand.

Julia Lerman is an international consultant with 20 years experience in the software industry. Ms. Lerman is a Microsoft MVP, ASPInsider and INETA Speaker. She is a prolific blogger and author of articles for MSDN Online, MSDN Magazine, and ASPAlliance. She is currently writing a programming book for O'Reilly and will be speaking at Microsoft TechEd 2008 US, one of Microsoft's premiere and largest developer events. Ms. Lerman contributes technical expertise to the architecture of MapsAlive.
