First Western Trust Bank Appoints Rebecca Cordes To Lead its Flagship Downtown Denver Office

Ms. Cordes joins First Western from U.S. Bank, where she was a senior vice president responsible for leading its Private Banking Group. As President, she will lead management, business development and growth strategy for First Western Trust Bank's flagship downtown office.

Ms. Cordes brings more than 30 years of experience in banking to her role at First Western. She spent much of her career at U.S. Bank and its predecessor, Colorado National Bank, where she held a number of leadership positions. Ms. Cordes graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska and also earned a diploma from the Colorado School of Banking. She has served on the boards of several Denver area community organizations, including Denver Civic Ventures, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, and Junior Achievement. She also served on the board of the American Institute of Banking.
