FlashMap.com Signs Deal With Jacob Cane Design to Provide Flash Maps on the Site
(PRWEB) March 29, 2006 -- Jacob Cane Design (www.jacobcane.com) a division of Capital Options, Inc has signed a revenue sharing agreement and lease option with the owner of flashmap.com. The owner of flashmap.com is a gentleman by the name of Jung Hwa Kim from South Korea.
This agreement will benefit both Jacob Cane Design and Mr. Kim by providing the FlashMap product development by Jacob Cane Design with a new and higher profile home at FlashMap.com.
FlashMaps by Jacob Cane Design are primarily flash driven maps of the U.S. and other counties. All versions of the FlashMap are designed with the end user in mind; the content of each FlashMap can be changes from an external text file. Macromedia Flash is not required to use this product. The FlashMap color can also be changed from this same text file to allow the user to select colors that best matches the overall design of their site.
FlashMap –directLink. Flash map of the U.S., when clicked on each state launches a new page. The HTML link is contained in a text file for easy editing. You can set up an HTML page for each state or you can have each state link to a dynamic page pulling information into a page from a database using PHP, ASP or Cold fusion.
FlashMap – Mini. This is a smaller version of the FlashMap directLink combined with the FlashMap – Highlight. It is designed to fit into the side columns of websites so it doesn’t take up as much space. View an example of the FlashMap Mini at: http://www.realestate-search.com
FlashMap – Highlight. Flash map of the U.S. The color of each state can be controlled separately from a text file. This text file can then in turn be linked with a database using Cold Fusion, ASP, or PHP. The color of each state will then change based on database queries. The background of each state can be changed independently from the overall color of the map to highlight store locations, display election results, demographics and so on.
FlashMap – World Map. This is our newest FlashMap, we are expanding our FlashMaps to include the world! You can have an HTML page for each country or you can hook it up to a database so that the links are dynamic. (Example: http://www.yoursite.com/location.php?country=us) All the links are stored in a text file that is imported into the flash file. This allows you to change the links without knowing or having flash. The color of the map can also be changed from the text file to match your sites color scheme. Further customizations can be made to the map if need to fit your particular needs.
FlashMaps are reasonably priced around $49 per map. To find out more information or to purchase the FlashMap please visit FlashMap.com.
